UU Fellowship of Charlotte County achieves Green Sanctuary status

Congratulations to the UU Fellowship of Charlotte County!!

Ted Zawistowski reports:
Based on a variety of activities, as of May 26, 2017 UUFCC has been granted Accredited Green Sanctuary Status by the UUA Green Sanctuary program.  Activities included:  monthly meatless potluck meals, a Meatless Mondays cookbook, an annual Art Nature Theater summer camp for youths, a Zika Hope Campaign to inform and organize the fight against the Zika virus, including environmental balance and stability, and learning how to support the Everglades. UUFCC joins some 275 other UU congregations in achieving this status.
