Unitarian Universalist Justice Florida, our 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, provides education and training about our core issues, state and federal legislative processes, and opportunities for civic engagement. We host conferences on key issues of the day, encourage development of UU justice leadership, and build coalitions with Florida Unitarian Universalist Clusters, regional and national networks, UUA affiliated organizations, interfaith partners and secular public interest organizations to work together on issues for the common good.
Our UUJF Action Network undertakes actions at the state Capitol and visits to District offices of our state and federal legislators, encourages outreach to city and county officials, and issues on-line alerts about specific issues and legislation consistent with UU values. Sign up here to be included in our network, and share your voice with others.
Together we raise our voices in support of critical issues. Together we respond to action alerts for which our combined responses, grounded in our Seven Principles and core values shared with others, can make an important difference.
Together, with interfaith and secular partners we share our faith-rooted values on issues with legislators locally and in the halls of government. We bring UUs statewide to Tallahassee to learn how our government works and educate them in the skills of civic engagement. We sponsor statewide tours by prominent speakers. We host major conferences and provide scholarships for Unitarian Universalists to participate. Interfaith and secular partners are invited to join us and participate at our discounted rates.
Together we educate and inform the public for the good of all. Please join our growing list of activists and donors who are building our network. Thank you for bending Florida toward justice.
