A Unitarian Universalist since 1990, Nancy was part of congregations in Oregon, North Carolina, California, Canada and Florida. Following her retirement in 2013 Nancy volunteered as a Courthouse Advocate for Harbor House in Orlando. She also taught adult literacy, computer and technology classes for The Adult Literacy League of Orlando. As a Board member of the Commission on the Status of Children in Orange County, Florida, Nancy served the "at risk" population of children in Orlando.
Nancy attended college in California and worked in Human Services for several years, including teaching at several Community Colleges in California. Nancy then worked for more than twenty years in Information Technology, traveling nationally for several vendors. She worked for the last ten years as a Community Association Manager in Central Florida. In 2014, she moved to Orange City, Florida, where she attends the Mosaic Unitarian Universalist congregation. She founded Justice For All, a group focusing on issues related to mass incarceration in 2013. She is currently an applicant for a Fellowship in Criminal Justice with the George and Daisy SOROS Foundation.
